Technological abuse can look like someone being monitored while using the internet or device, being tracked via technology, online stalking or harassment, black mail or threats thereof.
This abuse may seem like less than compared to some of the others although it is not to be misjudged. This form of abuse is used alongside others as well.
While you may think it is less likely to be harmed while enduring technological abuse you might be wrong. If you are trying to flee an abusive relationship and your abuser has access to your location that could lead to a very dangerous situation. If you are trying to avoid an abuser and they demand contact and threaten to expose vulnerable photos or texts, that could be extremely damaging.
Any form of abuse is abuse and should not be viewed lightly.
